| Your Personal Lawyer: Our Pledge To You |

|
We represent real people with real legal needs.
We appreciate the trust our clients have vested in us, and we want to reward that trust. Our Client’s Bill of Rights probably best describes our philosophy of what our clients are entitled to, and how we will protect our clients’ rights – and reward their trust in us.
Client’s Bill of Rights
- You have the right to VALUE. You have the right to receive quality legal services at a price that is fair to you and to me. You have the right – to the utmost extent possible – to understand how much your legal fees are going to be before starting the process. I WILL do my best to give you an accurate understanding of what my legal fees will be throughout your case.
- You have the right to RELIABILITY. You have the right to a lawyer who will be at your service throughout the process, and for necessary follow-ups. You have the right to a lawyer who will respond to your questions and concerns. I WILL promise to be at your service; in fact, I want you to be so pleased with my service to you that you will consider me to be your lawyer for future matters, and that you will tell your friends and family about me.
- You have the right to COMMUNICATION. You have the right to be kept up-to-date on the progress of your matter and to have your telephone calls taken (or promptly returned) when you call. I WILL answer your calls and e-mails. If I miss your call, I will return your call promptly. I will endeavor to keep you up-to-date on every aspect of your matter.
- You have the right to TRUTHFULNESS. You have the right to get candid, good, and straight legal advice. You have the right to be told the truth – whether it’s good, bad, or ugly. I WILL give you my candid assessment of all of your options at every juncture of your matter. I promise never to over-sell you, over-promise, or to mislead you.
- You have the right to BE HEARD. You have the right to a lawyer who will listen to you. I WILL listen to you. Communication is a two-way street. I will not do all of the talking. I will listen to what you have to say and to your questions, concerns, and instructions.
- You have the right to DEDICATION. You have the right to a lawyer who is dedicated to you and to your best interests. You have the right to a lawyer who is dedicated to understanding what you want and need. I WILL be devoted to getting the best possible result possible for you.
- You have the right to SATISFACTION. You have the right to be satisfied with your legal representation. No one can guarantee the result you may get in your matter, but you do have the right to be completely satisfied in the manner in which your matter is handled by your lawyer. I WILL strive to make you completely satisfied in the manner in which your legal matter is handled. To every extent possible, I will endeavor to make you satisfied with the outcome of your matter, as well.
- You have the right to OPTIONS. You have the right to know what your legal options are before beginning the process of your matter. I WILL give you my best opinions of what your options are. If you want a second (or even third) opinion, I will give you the names of other attorneys with whom you may also consult. I will do this for one important reason: you need to know that you have explored all of your options before you make important decisions.
- You have the right to REFERRALS. You have the right to the proper attorneys for your matter. I WILL help you get in touch with attorneys in particular areas in which I do not practice.
- You have the right to RESPECT and CONFIDENTIALITY. You have the right to have your matter be kept confidential. Further, you also have the right to be respected – respect for you individually, and respect for your matter. I WILL pledge to respect you, respect the importance of your matter, and to respect your right to confidentiality.
